De Pere, August 6, 2024 — The Dudley Birder Theatre is delighted to announce its upcoming 2025 Season. The downtown De Pere venue's 11th Season is filled with dreams, drama, forgiveness, life, loss, love, and lots of laughter. The seven productions are a mix of entertainment from both adult Birder Players and Birder Studio of Performing Arts’ students.

The seasons’ curtain will rise in February 2025 with Godspell, with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by John Michael Tebelak . The musical Company, music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by George Furth, will be presented in spring. The original 1970 production was nominated for a record-setting 14 Tony Awards, winning six. Annie, with music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Martin Charnin, and a book by Thomas Meehan, will fill our summer seats with this classic family favorite. In September, we will ‘wow’ our audiences with a musical featuring songs by George and Ira Gershwin, Nice Work If You Can Get It, with a book written by Joe DiPietro, and based on material by Guy Bolton and P. G. Wodehouse, which premiered on Broadway in April 2012. Our Birder Studio students will present a winter production of Mary Poppins, JR. and CATS: Young Actors Edition in May. Closing our season, the anxiously awaited return of Elf-The Musical, a musical based on the motion picture of the same name, with a score by Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin. The book is adapted by Bob Martin and Thomas Meehan from the 2003 film. We will conclude the year with our annual Birder Players cherished Magical Christmas Cabaret.

Our season’s Artistic Team showcases the local talents of Artistic Director/Producer Alicia Birder with Anna Allen, Ana Bakken, Hannah Beschta, Warren Elliott, Susan Elliott, Ruth Hoffman, Jensen Mackenzie, Michelle Oren, Dr. Sarah Parks, and Frank Tower.
