Salmon Run is a heartfelt neo-folk acoustic duo driven by energetic live performances. The duo is comprised of Isiah Driessen and Ryan Mendolla--Longtime friends who teamed up in pursuit of writing original music. With a debut album and follow-up EP under their belt, they have toured the local music scene. You can hear the influence of Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Gillian Welch and Jason Isbell in their songwriting, as well as the guitar stylings of Lindsey Buckingham, M. Ward, and Jose Gonzalez. Their songs capture emotions we all experience but sometimes cannot put into words.
